A COFFEE BREAK WITH ME

Oggi ho visto finalmente uno dei primi film di quello che per me sta per diventare un nuovo ciclo ad Hollywood.  Infatti si sta indebolendo la moda dei film tratti dai fumetti (primo fra tutti il Marvel Cinematic Universe - MCU), che è arrivato un po' a saturazione nonostante i successi dell'ultimo Spiderman, e si sta spingendo su un nuovo ciclo di film e serie tv tratte dai videogiochi. Questo ciclo in realtà è iniziato già da qualche anno, ma secondo me, soprattutto se questo Uncharted avrà successo, ci aspettano anni di film, di montagne di film, tratte da videogame di successo.  Certo finora i film tratti da videogiochi sono stati molto deludenti e di scarsa qualità, seppure il materiale di partenza, cioè i videogiochi da cui prendevano spunto, fosse davvero originale, divertente ed emozionante.  E di sicuro la serie di videogames dedicati ad Uncharted (4 dedicati al personaggio di Drake più uno spin-off) è un qualcosa di alta qualità, che prima del film avremmo potut...

  Finally, I've seen the final and closing episode of this new season of "Dexter final blood" and I have some mixed feelings about how they've decided to end the story of one of the most interesting characters, in my opinion, since the boom of TV series, so, for me, since the post-Lost period. Personally, I have loved all the seasons of Dexter, but my favorites are the first 4; in fact, from the fifth season on, the stories have always repeated themselves in the same way with a pattern too linear and predictable. All this up to the first finale, that of season 8, unplanned and improvised. Many fans of the show felt the need for this new season specially to give their character a worthy ending. The question I now have is if this new ending was worthy?   Ho visto la puntata finale e conclusiva di questa nuova stagione di "Dexter final blood" ed ho sentimenti davvero contrastanti su come hanno deciso di concludere la storia di uno dei personaggi, a mio parere, più interessanti del panorama televisivo da quando c'è stato il boom delle serie televisive, quindi, per me, dal periodo post-Lost. Personalmente ho amato tutte le stagioni di Dexter, ma le mie preferite rimangono le prime 4; infatti dalla quinta stagione in poi le storie si sono ripetute sempre allo stesso modo con uno schema troppo lineare e prevedibile. Tutto questo fino ad arrivare al primo finale, quello della stagione 8, davvero improvviso ed improvvisato.   EN Lately there has been a lot of conversation about this movie and the feedback is often conflicting, from those who love it to those who hate it, so I had to give my opinion in this blog. The quickest way to give a summary of the plot for me was to Google "Plot Don't Look Up" and the few words ahead are a more than satisfying result for my purpose: "A pair of astronomers become aware of the existence of a meteorite on a collision course with Earth.   In questo articolo scrivo poche righe sui 5 libri letti nel 2021, che più di tutti mi hanno colpito.  Per ogni libro non voglio scrivere di trama o fare spoiler, ma voglio dire perchè mi sono rimasti in mente e perchè hanno colpito.  1 - Quello che non ti dicono (Mario Calabresi) Mario Calabresi sa scrivere ed in questo libro lo fa trattando un tema diverso dai suoi precedenti libri, ripercorre una vera e propria indagine giornalistica "su commissione". Il libro nel ricostruire le vicende del rapimento e assassinio di Carlo Saronio rivive gli anni del terrorismo in Italia e nello specifico a Milano.  C'è anche tanta malinconia soprattutto considerando la ragione che lo spinge ad indagare.
