A COFFEE BREAK WITH ME

  Quando ho iniziato a leggere “ Notte Oscura. Una vera storia di Batman ” di Paul Dini ed Eduardo Risso, mai avrei pensato che ci avrei scritto su, ma mi sono ritrovato tra le mani un fumetto talmente originale che non ho potuto non spendere due parole. È una storia di Batman atipica perché l’autore, noto per aver partecipato alla creazione della serie degli anni 90 di Batman a cartoni animati della Warner Bros., qui narra parte della sua vicenda umana personale e di come i personaggi dei fumetti nella sua vita l’abbiano accompagnato nel bene e nel male. Ne scrivo perché questa storia è dedicata a tutti noi, amanti dei fumetti che leggono di eroi per trovarne ispirazione e conforto, per immaginare con il grande potere della fantasia come sarebbe avere al fianco nelle difficoltà un eroe ed immaginare quale potrebbe essere il suo consiglio per noi.   When I started reading "Dark Night. A True Batman Story" by Paul Dini and Eduardo Risso, I never thought I'd be writing about it, but I found myself with such an original comic in my hands that I couldn't resist spending a few words. It's an atypical Batman story because the author, known for having participated in the creation of the Warner Bros. cartoon Batman series of the 90's, here tells part of his personal human story and how the comic book characters in his life have been with him for both good and bad. I'm writing about it because this story is dedicated to all of us, lovers of comics who have read about heroes to find inspiration and encouragement, to imagine with the great power of the fantasy what it would be like to have a hero at our side in difficulties and to imagine what his advice could be for us.   In this last month I've been doing a full immersion in a tv show that I had only heard about before, but always underestimated; i'm talking about "The Office", US version. I approached this show after watching, under advice, a couple of very funny scenes and so I decided to start from the beginning and try to give a closer look. And so during my smartworking every lunch break and every evening my TV or pc was tuned to Netflix or Amazon Prime Video to watch a few episodes. Well I must say that I haven't regretted it at all, in fact I found all seasons always funny, very good characters especially as representatives of different types of employees (I know something about it being also a character in my "the office"), the dynamics always exaggerated but never too far from the real dynamics that you can live in an office. Nell'ultimo mese ho fatto una full immersion in una serie di cui prima avevo solo sentito parlare, ma che avevo sempre sottovalutato e considerato di serie b, The Office, nella versione US. Mi sono avvicinato alla serie dopo aver visto, sotto consiglio, un paio di scene molto divertenti e per questo ho deciso di iniziare dall'inizio e provare a dare un'occhiata più in dettaglio. E quindi durante il mio smartworking ogni pausa pranzo ed ogni serata la mia tv o il mio pc era sintonizzato su Netflix o Amazon Prime Video per vedere qualche episodio. Beh devo dire che non me ne sono affatto pentito, infatti, ho trovato nel complesso le varie stagioni sempre divertenti, i personaggi validi soprattutto come rappresentanti di diverse tipologie di impiegati (ne so qualcosa essendo anche io personaggio del mio "the office"), le dinamiche sempre esagerate, ma mai troppo distanti dalle vere dinamiche che si possono vivere in un ufficio.  Le stagioni in totale sono 9 e sicuram
