DEXTER NEW BLOOD (ENGLISH)

Finally, I've seen the final and closing episode of this new season of "Dexter final blood" and I have some mixed feelings about how they've decided to end the story of one of the most interesting characters, in my opinion, since the boom of TV series, so, for me, since the post-Lost period. Personally, I have loved all the seasons of Dexter, but my favorites are the first 4; in fact, from the fifth season on, the stories have always repeated themselves in the same way with a pattern too linear and predictable. All this up to the first finale, that of season 8, unplanned and improvised. Many fans of the show felt the need for this new season specially to give their character a worthy ending. The question I now have is if this new ending was worthy? Without making spoilers, I'll say first that the strength of this season is to resume the human story of Dexter, who now is called Jim, ten years after the Miami events, and to do so in an original way, theref

DEXTER NEW BLOOD (ITALIANO)

#HUMANOCRACY Vs #BUREAUCRACY

EN Today I want to dedicate this post to my last reading of 2021, a book about business and more specifically related to the world of business organization, Humanocracy by Gary Hamel and Michele Zanini. This book has already become a classic and explains through contemporary examples the importance of moving from a predominantly bureaucratic organization to one more based on humans and their potential. According to the authors, this shift could help companies survive turbulent and constantly changing times and could foster innovation within companies. The text is divided into three macro-blocks: Weaknesses of Bureaucracy Two examples of organizations that have reorganized with a more "humanocratic" approach Strengths of a "humanocratic" organization In this article it is not my intention to summarize the book, but only to mention some concepts that I found interesting and thought-provoking included in the first part of the text (in the future I think I

DON'T LOOK UP

EN Lately there has been a lot of conversation about this movie and the feedback is often conflicting, from those who love it to those who hate it, so I had to give my opinion in this blog. The quickest way to give a summary of the plot for me was to Google "Plot Don't Look Up" and the few words ahead are a more than satisfying result for my purpose: "A pair of astronomers become aware of the existence of a meteorite on a collision course with Earth. The two scientists try to warn everyone on Earth that the meteorite will destroy the planet in six months." Yes, because I don't want to talk about the storyline here, but some thoughts on the movie. And I'll be Spoiler free. The first thing that impressed me about the film is its ironic mood, but that was to be expected considering the previous films of the director (for example Anchorman, The Big Short or Vice). The use of humor is perfect for the topic, which is very similar to what happens toda
